What is Disney Lightning Lane?

Disney Lightning Lane is a paid service that lets you reserve access to shorter lines at select attractions.

• Replaces the old FastPass system

• Available in all four Disney World theme parks

• Includes most popular rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, and Slinky Dog Dash

There are three types of Lightning Lane selections:

1. Lightning Lane Multi Pass - Choose up to 3 experiences and arrival windows prior to travel and allows you to choose additional experiences after enjoying your first attraction.

2. Lightning Lane Single Pass - Allows you to lock in an arrival window for one of the most in-demand attractions.

3. Lightning Lane Premier Pass - Allows you to experience every Lightning Lane attraction in one park for one day whenever you want, without the need to schedule arrival windows.

How to Use Disney Lightning Lane

Step 1: Purchase your Lightning Lane Pass

• Disney World Resort guests can purchases up to 7 days prior to their stay.

• All other guests can purchase up to 3 days prior to their park visit

• Note that prices vary by day and theme park

Step 2: Make Reservations

• Select a Date, a theme park and pass or passes

• For Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can choose up to 3 multi pass experiences and arrival windows in advance.

• For Lightning Lane Single Pass, you can choose an arrival window in advance.

• For Lightning Lane Premier Pass, there’s no need to choose experiences or arrival windows.

• Follow all prompts to complete your purchase—and receive a confirmation.

• From the confirmation screen, tap “Plan Another Day” to purchase another pass—or tap “View My Day” for details about your Lightning Lane selections.

Step 3: Scan at the Ride Entrance

• Arrive at the designated time

• Scan your MagicBand or park ticket at the Lightning Lane entrance

• Skip the regular line and enjoy a shorter wait

Tips to Maximize Disney Lightning Lane

• Make sure you have the My Disney Experience App downloaded to your phone prior to 7 days before your stay

• Review your Friends and Family list on your My Disney Experience app to ensure that you are connected to all members of your party that are traveling and that everyone has a valid theme park ticket

• If needed ensure that you have booked theme park reservations (Only non-date based tickets)

Lightning Lane at Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom has two rides that are included in Lightning Lane Single Pass and 16 attractions included in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

Single Pass Attractions: (Each attraction would require its own Lightning Lane Single Pass)

EPCOT has one rides that is included in Lightning Lane Single Pass and 11 attractions included in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

Single Pass Attractions:

Multi Pass Attractions: (You will select either 1 ride from tier 1 and 2 rides from tier 2 or 3 rides from tier 2 prior to arrival, you can add additional experiences day of after you have tapped into your first attraction)
