Sunglasses
Ponchos or lightweight rain jackets
Cooling towels
Hand sanitizer

Small first-aid kit
Snacks for kids
Autograph book and pen
A lightweight backpack works best since you'll be walking 7–10 miles per day in the parks.

Disney Packing List for Kids
Traveling with kids requires a few extra essentials to keep them happy and comfortable.
Comfortable walking shoes
Extra socks
Lightweight jackets or hoodies
Favorite snacks
Refillable water bottles
Small toys or activities for wait times (My kids love bubbles and stickers)
Stroller (for younger kids 6 and under)
Blanket for naps
Wet wipes
Change of clothes
Even older kids often get tired from all the walking, so a stroller for children under 6 can be incredibly helpful.
Traveling with kids requires a few extra essentials to keep them happy and comfortable.

Rainy Day Disney Essentials
Florida is known for sudden afternoon rain showers, especially during the summer months.
Pack these items to stay prepared:
Ponchos
Small umbrella
Waterproof phone pouch
Extra socks
Plastic bag for wet clothes
Many experienced Disney travelers recommend ponchos instead of umbrellas because they’re easier to use in crowded parks, especially in lines.

Disney Park Comfort Items
Long park days can be exhausting, so a few comfort items can make your trip much easier. Helpful Comfort Items:
Portable fans (my kids love stroller fans)
Cooling towels
Blister bandages
Anti-chafing stick
Reusable straws (Disney uses paper straws)
Small blanket or towel for parades and younger kids napping in strollers (We love to use a small beach blanket - its not too hot but my kids like to have a blanket when they nap, even in the heat)
These small items can make a big difference during hot Florida afternoons.

Disney Packing List for Babies and Toddlers
If you're visiting Disney World with a baby or toddler, be sure to pack these essentials.
Diapers
Baby wipes
Changing pad
Baby carrier
Stroller fan
Formula or baby food
Bottles and sippy cups
Baby sunscreen
Extra outfits
Pacifiers
Baby blanket
Plastic Utensils that are toddler size
Disney parks have Baby Care Centers in every park, but bringing your own supplies saves time and money. But in case you forget something essential for your little one, the Baby Care Centers have everything you might need.
Disney Park Tech Essentials
Technology plays a big role in a Disney vacation. You'll likely use your phone constantly for reservations, wait times, and mobile food ordering. Tech Items to Pack:
Portable charger or power bank
Charging cables
MagicBand or park tickets (this can be on your smartphone or apple watch)
Phone waterproof case (optional - Great a the pool or water parks)
Headphones (optional)
Camera (optional)
A high-capacity portable charger is one of the most important things to bring. You will need your phone to use the My Disney Experience App throughout the day to check wait times, mobile order food, unlock the door to your Disney resort, book Lightning Lanes/Dining Reservations and more. Unforutantely, this app can drain your battery quickly. I recommned keeping the portable charger in your bag in case you need it.
Snacks to Pack for Disney Parks
Disney allows outside food and drinks, which can help save money and keep kids happy between meals.
Great snack ideas include:
Granola bars
Fruit snacks
Crackers
Trail mix
Applesauce pouches
Pretzels
Protein bars
Packing snacks also helps during long attraction wait times. No one wants to be hangry at Disney World. Snacks also helps keep my toddler entertained while waiting in line for rides. Its a win-win.

Disney Resort Packing List
If you're staying at a Disney resort hotel, bring a few additional items for relaxing at the hotel.
Resort Essentials
Swimsuits
Pool sandals
Beach bag
Laundry bag
Travel detergent pods
Many families enjoy taking midday pool breaks between park visits. Additonally, if you are traveling to Disney World in 2026 you can visit one of Disney's water parks for free on the day of check in.

These aren't required but can make your trip more enjoyable.
Glow sticks for nighttime parades
Autograph book with large pens or sharpies (we love to use the clickable Sharpies)
Disney-themed outfits
Lanyards for pins
Small backpack for kids
Ziplock bags for snacks
Glow sticks are especially helpful because they’re much cheaper than buying light-up toys inside the parks.

What NOT to Pack for Disney
Avoid overpacking by leaving these items at home.
Heavy bags or large backpacks
Expensive jewelry
Too many outfits
Bulky coolers
Uncomfortable shoes or brand new shoes
Remember, you’ll be walking long distances and carrying your bag most of the day, plus larger coolers on wheels and wagons are prohibited by Disney.
