EPCOT is divided into two main areas:

Unlike Magic Kingdom, EPCOT is less about characters and more about experiences, food, and innovation. Although there are still tons of characters to meet around this park! This is probably my favorite park in all of Disney and has been since I was a child. It is amazing how much this park has evolved, especially in recent years. My three year old son absolutely loves the Moana Journey Through Water and the aquarium, he also enjoys snacking his way through World Showcase. 

⏰ Morning Strategy (Rope Drop Plan)

Arrive 30–45 minutes before park opening. This is key to getting ahead of crowds. This park can get crowded (especially on weekends if there is a festival going on). It is important to have a game plan prior to your arrival. 

🎢 First Ride Priority

Start your day with one of these:

1. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (if you choose not to get a Lighting Lane)

2. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure

3. Frozen Ever After

If you have purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for Gaurdians of the Galaxy I recommend riding Remy's first and then heading over to Frozen Ever After before the park gets busy.

After your first ride, knock out:

• Soarin' Around the World

• The Seas with Nemo and Friends

• Spaceship Earth

• Living with the Land

• Figment

• Moana Journey Through Water

I recommend riding these less popular rides in the morning while the wait times are lower. This will allow you to accomplish more in the morning and then hit a more popular ride like test track in late afternoon. 

Best Quick-Service Options:

• 🇫🇷 Les Halles Boulangerie (France Pavilion)

• 🇲🇽 La Cantina de San Angel (Mexico Pavilion)

• 🇺🇸 Regal Eagle Smokehouse (American Pavilion)

If there is a festival taking place while you are visiting EPCOT I highly recommend snacking your way around the food booths at World Showcase for lunch. Remember to pick up a festival food guidebook at any food stand to see all offerings while you are there. The food is absolutely amazing! My family and I love to several small plates to share so we can sample food and drinks from several countries. And of course we always start in Mexico! If you know ... you know!

🌍 Afternoon: Explore the World Showcase

Take your time exploring each pavilion:

• Watch live performances - Throughout the day there will be performers in various countries that are absolutely amazing and worth stopping to watch

• Shop for unique souvenirs

• Try snacks from each country - My kids love doing this!

• 🇫🇷 Beauty and the Beast sing-along

• 🇨🇦 Canada Far and Wide film
